Blank line in report?

Hi,

I have a form in Access (2003) that looks like a letter. the reason
being is that the detail band will have several records, otherwise I
woudl have used mailmerge in Word. Some addresses do not have all the
fields filled in and a blank line appears when this happens in their
address on the letter.

Is there a way to prevent this similiar to Foxpros 'Remove Line if
blank' option?

In a report (not a form) you would use the can grow property or cna shrink.

Forms are for entering, viewing, or editing data. Reports are for printing.

Thanks Rick. I was aware of the shrink & grow property at least, but
was not aware that the shrink property would remove a line. Never
ocurred to me.
