After posting this post, I read through a couple pages of
previous postings, and found this correction (below). I
performed the edits and after rebooting, it worked! Thank
you!

(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [Internet Options] [Programs] [Reset
Web Settings]

Hi,
My computer was working well when suddenly one day, it
hanged after starting up.
It is working now but there is a problem with my internet
explorer browser.
When I click on a link which automatically opens it in a
new window, the new window cannot display anything and
just hangs there.
Same thing happens when I try to open any link in new
window myself.
What could be the problem?
