blackout slide at start of a power point slide show

how do i insert a blackout slide at start of a power point slide show, ie a
blanks slide showing just before a presentation starts and at the end too..?
 
Insert a blank slide at the beginning of your presentation, make the
background black and to advance on Mouse click. At the end you can do the
same thing and have it end the show on a mouse click or you can click on
Tools, Options, View, and check mark "End with black slide"

We can do that too.

First, do what Michael said, then read any twelve posts in this newsgroup at
random, do what they say to do, then press the Ctrl+Z key twelve times (or once
per step in the directions).

IB1, if you want to "drive yourself crazy," read my lengthy post on
"appreciate comments on playing sound" of July 8 which I am still waiting for
