BLACK SCREEN

Every once in a while, i get a black screen that comes up
and freezes my computer. It doesn't make any difference
how long i am on here. Sometimes it happens after the
computer is idle for a while and other times it happens
while i am using it. I have to reboot. What could be
causing this???? Thank you, Dan
 
With complete black youre probably looking at a hardware
issue,connections,video-card,try resetting and/or re-
plug all hardware concerning video/monitor.
