I am looking to buy some black pigmented ink jet ink for an HP-97
cartridge. I had been getting it from Alotofthings, but their web
site no longer comes up. There's Ink-Etc, Atlantic Inkjet, and
InkSupply among others.

I recall reading here in the past that some vendors are better than
others. I would appreciate any recommendation of a reliable supplier.

I also bought my ink from alotofthings.com. The company had a terrific
variety of inks, cartridges, and various refill options at very reasonable
prices. Besides that the owner was very interested in recycling, avoiding
plastic waste wherever possible, had an ongoing conflict with Epson because
they wanted him to stop selling particular refillable cartridges that made
it easy to use with their printers. I once had a phone conversation with the
gentleman for almost an hour, and among other things we discussed how Epson
was keeping dozens of lawyers in business with their suits against third
third party ink cartridge companies. Apparently he was in the thick of it
with Epson. Unfortunately the owner had a chronic illness that made it too
hard for him to continue operations. Around 8 months ago he shut down.
But to your question: I've also dealt regularly with MIS,
www.inksupply.com for the past five years. They have a wide variety of ink,
know what they are doing, and are very dependable. You might give them a try
and see if they can supply you.

Thanks for your information. I always purchased my inks from
Alotofthings for some time although I am only low volume user. Sorry
to hear of his owner's illness. I'll give inksupply an order.
