Hi,
I've had a printer on my network print with a 'line' down the middle of the
page. It's not a clear page but is made up of black marks.
I have run the print head cleaning process a couple of times, but can't find
any other advice about what it might be or how to stop it?
Can anyone help?

You did not say what kind of printer.
Laser printers-- Look at the innards (Toner, image drum, fuser, etc) for
something in the same location on the various parts. This is kind of
general, but the cause is often obvious. Printers can also have this problem
if memory locations have failed, or, in the case of some laser printers, the
laser unit is malfunctioning.

Ink Jet printers. Usually caused by something in the paper path after the
print head, or the print head. Cleaning the surface of the print head with a
lint free damp towel may cure the problem. Duplex printers can get crud in
the duplex assembly that will cause this symptom.

In other words, it's most likely a hardware related problem, not software.
