Black Desktop

Sept 07, I purchased a new Gateway with Windows Vista pre-loaded. When I add
a personal photo as a desktop background it changes and appears well. The
next time I turn on my computer the background is black. Any ideas? Thanks
 
Possibly the photo is not available after a reboot. Right click on the
Desktop, pick Personalization, Desktop Background, Browse to the photo and
choose it that way. Make sure the photo is on your hard drive and not on the
Internet.
