You probably meant Rowan Atkinson. Obvious really: Roan refers to the
colouring of a horse, whereas Rowan is a tree aka Mountain Ash.
So that makes sense doesn't it.

Why didn't my spelling checker tell me that "Roan" should have been "Rowan"?
You can't trust spelling chequers(!!!).
