Please, can you tell me something more about Bitdefender, antivirus program,
standard edition?
I bought a pc a few days ago, and I can't decide which antivirus program to
install. Can you reccomend me?
Regards,
Armando
Nod32. Very fast. Or F-prot for Windows.

Worm/Apsiv from kazaa

if I didn't mispelled the name, this worm the bdc do not detect, I tried to
launch bdc --update and it downloaded some files, but not the one to detect
this virus, and, I'm not sure, norton antivirus did not detect it either, I
don't want do make propaganda but the AntiVir, with its stupid real time
scan, found it.

i know it's not a rinky virus, but it IS a virus (actually a worm, I know).

by myself, I use navce v7.6 (norton corporate edition) (did'n see the 8.0
version)
it works, and is not resource consuming, at least REAL less than nav2004 and
I like the liveupdate model, is mcafee yet downloading the whole file? in
linux I use bitdefender(if it'd work I'd felt better) and antivir... at a
short answer I use the ones that did NOT detect the virus I got. :-) and
it's really true.

Version 9 has just been introduced. Superb.

so this is what i did: i downloaded the file from kazaa and sent
it to bitdefender. with the newest signature-update it now detects
the file correctly.
