So what do people think about Bitdefender as AV & Security Software?
I have been using Kaspaskey but it recently got bad press as not the best out their.
Bitdefender & Avast have been recommended to me.

What do others use?

MSE + Windows firewall. Job done.

MAB and SAS for Spyware.

Avast + Windows Firewall
And once a month Malwarebytes. And ocasionally Trend Micro Housecall online scanner.

I used to swear by Bit Defender and found it very good, BUT now I use Microsoft Security Essentials and like Evan I use Malwarebytes monthly and also SUPERantySpy all free downloads as I cannot justify the extra expense of Bit Defender or any other pay for security, but if you are willing to pay for internet security Bit Defender is a good one and I never had any problems. Personally I think the free security is as good as the pay for ones.

If you want to pay for AV, then the only real option is ESET Smart Security, Or Kaspersky. :)

Avast fo the last 5 years or more.

MSE + Windows firewall on me sisters pc. :)
