***Birthdays***

I'm really bad at them. Having and actually using a calendar really
helps. With the one I'm used to, I can put in betsy's date of birth
and the program will tell me that it's her 13th birthday ... and keep
track of it the next year, etc. Can outlook do this? If not, is
there a 3rd party program that does this?

Sure just create the birthday as a recurring event every year on the xth
day of the y month. Outlook will put it on your calendar every year forever.

Thanks! Ok, I have a problem - I went there and the formula was there
[IIf([Birthday]<>"None",DateDiff("yyyy",[Birthday],Date())-IIf(DateDiff("d",CDate(Month([Birthday])
& "/" & Day([Birthday]) & "/" & Year(Date())),Date())<0,1,0),"")]
, but the template (and/or .zip) was unavailable. So, I attempted to
make a form myself. I copied the formula and opened Outlook
->Contacts ->View -> Arrange By -> Current View -> Customize Current
View -> Fields to create a custom contact field (and theoretically,
insert the formula) but there is no option to make a "new field". No
doubt, I'm doing something wrong. I feel like I'm ***almost there***
but I don't know anything about this kind of thing. I thought this
would be a really simple "copy and paste" customization. OOPS. Plus,
I apparently need another program to retroactively activate the
formula and I'm impatient and frustrated. I know, it doesn't do any
good, but there you are. Any help?

They are mostly the same - a form is published, a template is in the windows
file system. Forms with script need published so the script works.
