After importing a *.pst onto a new computer, the birthdays that are inputted
into each contact are no longer showing up in the calendar. I also am
transferring onto a Pocket PC and they don't show up there either. I have
heard that if I manually change each one slightly, that it can be fixed, but
I don't want to have to do that for 900+ contacts. Any suggestions?!

No suggestions except the manual change.

Now you understand why your should just reuse the .pst file rather than
importing. No reason under heaven why people keep importing and exporting
..pst files to reuse with a new Outlook when all is required is a
File->Open->Outlook Data File in Outlook to open your COPIED .pst file.
