Birthday reminder in OL2003 Calendar

Hi folks.

When I used OL2000 I could add the birthday year/date for my contacts and
the program added a birtday reminder event in the OL2000 Calendar. I now
use OL2003 (converted from OL2000) and I can't see that this function is
working in the program. Anybody knowing how to maintain this function in
OL2003?

not sure what the problem is?? simply open contacts,
double click the contact you want to update... select the
details tab, type in the complete birthdate including
year (5/12/1950)... then save and close... go to may 12,
2004 and there is an all day event shown for "contact
name's birthday" recurring with a reminder??
 
OK, its working. In OL2000 there was an icon in the Contact note/info/text
field which showed that there was a birthday. In OL2003 there is no icon
like in OL2000, but the system makes an occurence in the Calendar. Thanx
anyway...
