And a big Happy Birthday to you Madam, hope you're having a great day
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
Mr C has thoroughly spoilt me! He gave me a DSLR - after saying for aaages that we couldn't get one until next year, so I really wasn't expecting it! It's a Nikon D3200, I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow. We went to Chester for my birthday, had a nice meal out and stayed overnight, and today we went for a walk in North Wales - beautiful place called Loggerheads.
All in all had a great couple of days!
What a super birthday gift, your lovely new Nikon sounds awesome Becky. Looking forward to seeing your first piccies. Have fun.
- beautiful place called Loggerheads.
Well, now we can all say that the two of you were at Loggerheads.
Some photos taken in the Roman gardens:
This squirrel needs to learn better places to hide it's nuts!
Playing around with aperture at Loggerheads:
and this was me just playing around, but I like the overall photo:

Lucky girl!
Great pictures too, can see your going to make the most of that new camera.
Great pictures Becky
Super piccies Becky. Aww, that poor squirrel is going to be disappointed after the road-sweeper vacuumes up his stash.
We particularly like the river scene - can I ask which one it is? That bridge is so picturesque.
Thanks everyone!
Taffycat - it's the River Dee, and the bridge is called the Old Dee Bridge. I have another photo showing how filthy it is! You can see the start of the bridge in the right-hand side of the photo, and there was so much rubbish out of shot:

I also got a really useful book which has been brilliant -
Nikon D3200 for Dummies (although not sure what Ian is trying to say with this gift...!!)
