HELP!

This seems to be JUST what I need in a board, this M7VIZ-A06, Rev 5.1 even
has the SATA RAID connectors on it, too. But I can't enter BIOS without
clearing the CMOS. I'm using Kingston DDR333 512MB RAM and an AMD Athelon
XP 1800+. I FLASHed the BIOS several times with no change. BUT, when it
does boot, it runs like a champ! I'd loaded WinXP, drivers, and all. It
simply won't enter BIOS reliably... any suggestions? It's a 300W PS, WD
60GB, floppy, and a DVD-ROM drive.

If there's no hope, then I'll have to return this one too. My first (Rev 5)
wouldn't even acknowledge keystrokes nor err that the keyboard was/was not
present. This one is not entirely DOA, it's better, but still isn't
right...

Did you try the Windows OC utility? The one that comes on the CD. I
couldn't get it to run on my Biostar but figured that was since I have
Win98SE on it.

Wasn't on my agenda as I can't get the BIOS entered. I'm NOT keeping this
board unless I can find a fix -- even then it's not my intention to
Over-Clock it, I need a replacement for my CRASHED P-III/800 for my study.

Do YOU have this board? Is the Bios stable on yours?

Thanks
Andrew

POWERFUL CONTROL PANEL - [ WarpSpeederâ„¢ ] ---- 2002 / 07 / 01

BIOSTAR MICROTECH INT'L CORP. announces to provide [ WarpSpeederâ„¢ ]
technology on most of motherboards. This powerful control panel
features three user-friendly functions including Overclock Manager,
Overvoltage Manager, and Hardware Monitor.

With the Overclock Manager, users can easily adjust the frequency they
prefer or they can get the best CPU speed with just one click. The
Overvoltage Manager, on the other hand, helps to power up CPU core
voltage and Memory voltage. Also, the cool Hardware Monitor smartly
indicates the temperatures, voltage, CPU fan speed as well as the
chipset information. In addition, the frequency statuses of CPU,
memory, AGP, and PCI along with the CPU speed are synchronically shown
on our main panel.
Moreover, to protect users' computer systems if the setting is not
appropriate, [ WarpSpeederâ„¢ ] technology assures the system stability
by automatically rebooting the computer and then restart to a speed
that is either the original system speed or a suitable one.

In a word, [ WarpSpeederâ„¢ ] technology is definitely a latest BIOSTAR
innovation you cannot miss............................................
