Hi, I neen to now how to get into the bios? I know you
go to the start menu and then run...but I forget what you
type in next. I think it's cmd something?? I hope
someone can help. Thanks, Kerry

That's the command prompt. If you want the command prompt you go to Start,
type cmd in the run box and press enter or choose command prompt from the
Start menu under Accessories.

If you want to enter the BIOS, that has nothing to do with Windows and you
don't enter from Windows. Boot your system, usually on the first screen
there is a message telling the user if they wish to enter setup, press a
specific key, when you see that message, do as it asks and that will put you
in the system BIOS.

Thats how you access DOS in xp,type:cmd
But the BIOS needs to be entered before the os starts, usually tapping the
F1/Help key at start-up gets you in,others tap the delete key.
