BIOS Upgrade P2B-F

I just purchased an new WD 60G HD and it looks like my computer will not
recognize it. I'm currently used a BIOS dated 3/4/99 V1009A. Will
updating to the most current one V1013A solve this problem.

You should update to 1014F Beta 3, which is the latest. These beta's are
production proof.

I downloaded 1013a and also the beta 1014f. I noticed that after
unzipping them both the 1013a has an extension .awd and the beta has
..003

What does this mean?
