Hi

I'm currently having alot of trouble flashing my new Bios Saviour, it simply
gives me 'unknown chip' and refuses to flash.
I've tried both uniflash and awards own flasher, I've tried to -force
uniflash to detect a Macronix 29F002(N)T type chip.
On the chip itself it says MX29F002NTQ-90.
Problem is I needed to replace a dead bios chip on a Abit BE-6 board so I
had to flash it in another board. I've so far tried 2 differernt boards and
non of them works...
I might have to cough up some money and get someone with a 'real' flasher to
flash it for me.

Any ideas?

Have you tried the Award flasher with the " /f " option?

The truth is out there. You just have to look in the right places and ask
the right questions.

Yep, I think I've actually found the error, I've tried to flash a 5v chip in
3,3v motherboard :-|
