etc but it fails and reboots.

is there any way I can start in dos mode so i can reflash
the bios to an earler setting or do you have any further
help ????

Check your bios settings and see if something is set to a high performance
Possibly set the AGP if you can to a lower setting
If you have to flash it again you should really use a floppy disk with the
correct flash on it

It is always best to flash the BIOS from DOS. Copy the flasher and the
update (or down grade in your case) to a bootable floppy, then boot with the
floppy and run the flasher application.

What version did you flash to?

What usually happens is that when you flash a BIOS it gets reset to all
default settings. You should have made a copy of all the settings beforehand
so that when a flash is required you can go back into the BIOS and change
things to where they were before.

Now the only option is to review every page and see if the settings make
sense as you remember them.
