I am updating my XP bio's which is requiring me to "restart the computer in the DOS mode". I am understand how to F8 to the selection screen, but just starting in DOS is noted
You will need a floppy boot disk, such as a Win 98 boot disk. You must have
the new BIOS and the Flash utility on the floppy.
But, is there a need to update your BIOS? I know there are times when you
must, but many times people want to update just to update. This will cause
major problems if everything doesn't go right.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!
