Hi,

Is there anyway to setup as followed?
Primary DNS: Solaris
Secondary DNS: Win2k

How do the Win2k replicate from the Unix server in this
case? What are the configuration needed to be done on the
Win2k portion? Please help. Thanks

Sure but it is seldom the best method for your DNS zone WHICH supports
your AD Domain.
How do the Win2k replicate from the Unix server in this
case?

The Win2k DNS server must be setup as a Secondary for that zone,
with the Solaris DNS as the "master."
What are the configuration needed to be done on the
Win2k portion? Please help. Thanks

Create the zone (using the wizard) as a secondary and fill in the master
address (e.g., Solaris.)

Why do you wish to use Solaris?

Setup a Secondary zone on the Windows 2000 DNS server and transfer the zone. You will need to make sure that the zone on the Solaris box is configured to
allow zone transfers. You can test this by running nslookup at a command prompt on the Windows 2000 server. Then type "ls -d zonename" where zonename
is the DNS zone you want to transfer. If this is successful, then you are ready to go.
