open .bin files i have tried to open it with a file from microsoft but it
goes to winrar and i dont know how to use these applications.also i have rar
files to which i cant open as i dont know what to do

If you have WinRAR and and .bin are associated, just right on the file and
chose the task.(like extract here)

A .bin file is part of a program and cannot be opened separately. If you try to view the contents - with Notepad, for example - you will see gibberish.

A .rar file is a compressed archive. To uncompress the archive use Winrar:
http://www.rarlab.com/

Ted Zieglar

Go to GOOGLE.com and activate a search for WINRAR.
This is another ZIP type program which has the ability to handle all types
of compressed files as well as .rar files. There is a free version and,
naturally, you can purchase it.
..bin files usually need a program such as a BIOS installer (like
AWDFLASH.EXE) to read them.
..bin stands for binary and there would be no advantage to opening them
unless you use a HEX Editor and then you couldn't do anything with it unless
you had the program which it is associated with.
