An .iso file is a single large CD image file that represents
a whole set of programs and data as they will appear once
extracted and burned onto a CD-ROM disc. The entire CD
image is stored in the ISO 9660 format with a file extension
of ".iso". To be used, the .iso file must be first extracted and
burned onto a CD-ROM disc using the software that came
with your CD-ROM burner.
A .bin or a .iso file is basically a CD image file. Not and image as in a
picture, but it is a data copy of the contents of a CD. You would need some
sort of CD burning software that supports the particular "image" file you
have.
There is also software the can "mount" a CD image. Basically the software
creates a virtual CD-ROM drive and "mounts" the image to it (i.e. the
software fools the computer into thinking there is another CD-ROM drive in
your computer with a CD in the drive that contains whatever is in the image
file.)
I'm sure others can point you to particular programs for either of the above
scenarios...
