Where would I find info on feeding my laptop into a flatscreen TV?
1. Start with the video card information first. Do you HAVE a TV-out
connector of dongle? Your video card or possible another card has to
provide a TV compatible signal and output connector first.
2. Once you're sure you have the TV out connection, then it's just a
case of connecting it to the TV set with an appropriate cable to the
appropriate jacks on the TV.
3. The audio as a rule does not accompany the video signal so if you
want the audio too you likely have to connect a sound card output to a
TV audio input also.
4. It can be handy at times to put your display to a TV set, but if you
wish to use it as a replacement monitor, it may not be an ideal
situation for you. HD sets help, assuming you can get HD output from
your computer, but it's still not all that good or easy to see, and
analog outputs are pretty bad for reading just about anything but very
large text.
You really need to provide more information to get a very good answer.
There is too much missing information.
