My Internet Only Mode Outlook profile keeps insisting that I have and LDAP
directory connecting to Bigfoot.
Whenever I delete it, it keeps re-appearing. If I cancel the add directory
form that appears, Outlook crashes.
I've re-installed MS Office, but the problem is still there.

Version of outlook?

Is it listed in your address book? The address book's tools, option is one
place to look- once we know the version, we can give other places to look.

Outlook 2003.
I have deleted it from my directories in the Accounts & Directories config.
But it is still listed in address book searches.

There is no such thing as "Internet Mail Only mode" (as you mentioned in
your original post) for Outlook 2003.

How are you doing the address book searches?

Go to tools, address book and look on it's tools, options menu - you can
delete it from the lower dialog if it's causing problems.

The profile in use is:
"Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings"
The version of Outlook is 2003.

I do not have an Exchange server to connect to and I am using Outlook to
connect to a Mirapoint messaging server using IMAP.

Please see responses below...

I don't particularly want to do an address book search. But if I did, I
would use the tools menu in the address book section as you have outlined
below.
Go to tools, address book and look on it's tools, options menu - you can
delete it from the lower dialog if it's causing problems.
I've done that and it doesn't cause me a problem - but it's still there and
I can't get rid of it.
