BIG problem.

Basically, my computer works fine when my internet is not
connected, all the software works perfectly, and theres no
problems.

As soon as the internet is connected, everything starts
going wrong! My office suite will not work, it firstly
states that the office assistant is not installed (which
it is - as it appears when i am offline). It also doesnt
allow me to copy anything from the internet onto a Word
document.

My Nero burning software also doesnt work, also saying
that it is not installed.

If you could help me, i would be most grateful.
 
Sounds like you have some critter on your machine that wakes up when you go
online.

I would run a virus scan offline and run Spybot and Ad Aware.
