I am having a big network problem on my Vista computer. I just upgraded to
Windows Vista Home Premium from XP. I can access the network but I can't
access the Internet (I'm using the Internet on my XP computer to post this).
First, when I checked the Network & Sharing Center, it said there were 2
wireless networks, one was my network and one is a duplicate one that doesn't
exist! So I tried disconnecting from the duplicate one, and it disconnected
from the real one to! Whatever I do to either one happens to the other one.
There's a big red X between the networks and the Internet, and when I tell it
to diagnose the problem, it says that there are 2 active networks, one of
which is the duplicate. So I tried hooking up a LAN network to my XP and
trying to use the network through that one and access Microsoft's Vista
technical support chat directly from the computer, but there was still an X
and, even worse, 2 LAN networks! Eventually, I got the duplicate LAN off, and
the X dissapeared. But, even though it says it's connected to the Internet, I
still can't connect to it! Just now, the X flashed off and on, off and on,
and then stopped flashing. Someone please help me as soon as you can!

Hi Ric,

Looks like a great programme. Do you know what happens at the end of the
"Trial 30 days?"

Thanks

Martin

I believe you still get to keep the basic network outline. Some of the other
features may go away.
