computer a Compac will not boot on the monitor a LCD it says:

VGA Input:
No Input Signal
DVI Input:
No Input Signal

Recommended Settings:

We have tried using another monitor and removing her Video Graphics card

Check out the monitor on another computer. If it is working
satisfactorily with the other computer, then one can assume
that the problem is with the video card in the Compaq or
even the motherboard. Are there any indications that the
motherboard is powering up?

Check the graphics card on a different computer. The graphics (aka
video) card might be dead.

If the PC doesn't boot, then there is no signal for the monitor. The
problem is not the monitor, but the PC. Is there any response whatsoever
from the PC when power is applied? Any beeps, LED indicators flash,
keyboard indicators blink? If nothing happens, and the unit is supplied
with power, then the powersupply or motherboard is faulty.

She says that there is no beep, thats the first thing I asked her, the power
lights are coming on. If this was the mother board wounldn't nothing come
on?

Sounds like the motherboard or CPU is failed, I suggest contacting
Compaq/HP as to resolution of the issue.
