Hi

When i try to open a saved ".htm " or ".html" filr my
internet explorer does not open the file at all. I just
see a blank white page.
When i select the file ".htm " or ".html" but not double
click on it i can see the samll image on the lower left
hand sie corner.

If i use any other browser it works fine.
What is wrong ?

I think - no guarantees - that it works if you create a
file association with it - it used to be right click on
the file, and "open with".
Also, check the tools, then options tab to see if you
clear the offline files every time you go offline.
And it sometimes works second time every time if you
try it twice -
and if you downloaded the html file from aol, all bets
are off - they don't download a lot of crap well, and IE
can't read the aol gibberish. (tecchies think its that
they want you to get 9.0, with the nsa patch - but I have
to load IE opened over aol to download a lot of info from
the U accurately)

so try opening it twice and see if it loads, and if you
use aol, try using ie to download it, and see if it opens
then.

ps - aol won't fix it.
