Bidirectional printing

Is bidirectional printing a function of the driver, port monitor, or both?

Additionally, we have someone trying to install the driver on an Arabic
machine and get a message indicating that the driver does not support the
language. The driver is just a graphics driver and should print whatever gdi
sends as a bitmap. Is there an option in the gpd file that needs to be set
to get around this message?

It's actually a function of the language monitor but the functionality can
be included in the driver and the port monitor. The language monitors that
ship with Win2k are available to any printer if the driver section of the
inf includes them.

If you are a driver vendor you need to contact the DDK team.

Thanks for the input; I will check into these monitors. If you are talking
about the ddk news group, they are pretty much dead. If you are talking
about MS group, I can't afford your prices.
