Having a problem with this TV-out. Everything works fine and I installed the
newest released driver from Nvidia (81.98). Ecept I can't figure out how to
activate the TV-out. I plugged in the S-video cable in the back and the
other to my VCR, but I can't find where to activate it. Can anyone help? Do
I need to do anything else? Thanks for your help.

Not 100% sure but I dont think you'll get a picture connected to a VCR -
drivers have macrovison to stop copying of DVD to VHS.

On the Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, Geforce
(6800GT?) tab, there should be a panel that pops out to the
left side with a custom un-window-like list.

The list will contain items such as (not necessarily all of
these): nView Display Settings, Performance & Quality
Settings, Color Correction, ... , Tools, etc.

On the Tools item, click the "detect displays" button at the
bottom. If it doesn't detect the TV, see if there's a box
labeled "Force TV detection" right above that button.

If you are missing some of the items in the list, you might
gain some of them by merging a registry file commonly known
as "Coolbits 2" (Google will find it), then after closing
Display Properties, reopen it.

When I went through this process on an Nvidia FX5200, the
"un-window-like list" offered an option to "Install DualView".
After you select that option, the option disappears from the
list. (I may have rebooted at this point, I don't remember
whether I was forced to, or I did anyway.) After that, I
had options for the two displays, and there weren't any more
problems. I could define independent resolutions for my main
monitor and for the TV. I think there was also a clone mode
offered.

Paul

Thanks guys...
