I have not really been using my cheap audio card for sound capture and have
found that it picks up the various transients that are given out by the pc
when recording to a WAV recorder/editor.

What are people using for good sound reproduction ?

Many thanks,

Richard Brooks.

You might want to look at out-of-the-case sound cards if you are a
real sound purist. There's lots of them around but your into big
money even for openers or so I've read.

It's only really to stop hearing the clock spikes at all rates of sampling.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into those,

Richard.

I have been using MAudio 2496 with excellent results... discount priced
around 149... is been clean enough to do cd masters for a small record
company
