Better function needed for IE Print Preview

Unhappy with several IE6 print preview aspects.

1) Is there an Open Source version available that can be
both tailored and substituted ?

2) What is the name of the dll or exe which is invoked ?

3) Writeups exist on putting a print preview Icon onto
the toolbar; how can one place it on the Right Button
Context Menu without knowing its name?

4) Preview can allow one to save some paper by going to
the last pages and see if information is useful (often
white space or advertisements), and then printing only
useful pages.

4a) would like to AUTOMATICALLY start Preview positioned
for viewing the LAST page and work backwards; how?

4b) Due to oversized web pages, printing text often is
CLIPPED on the right; This is documented in KB. Takes 4
distinct "clicks" to rotate paper to landscape. Should be
a button for rotation on the Print Preview toolbar.

4c) Would appreciate some shrink or crop capability. Lots
of ideas on how to implement - think of AcroReader 6+ or
Paint functionality, performed on the print object. One
can 'view source' and clean up HTML to crop material out,
as well as change font sizes to adjust to desired size.

Pointers appreciated! howard

Download a HP deskjet printer driver from HP website, it has a truely
what-you-see-is-what-you-get print previewer.

The previewer even simulates features like n-up printing, poster,
orentation, mirroring, color adjustment. You do not need to have physical
printer to use the previewer.
