They are still there, on Beta 1. Alas, it is *one of many* nice
features of Beta 1 which have not made it to Beta 2.
That is why I am sticking with Beta 1 to the bitter end.
"Just screwed" is merely a temporary state of being.
Beta software is dynamic in nature. Features are added ... or taken away
..... as might be necessary to soothe the savage beast or dazzle the potential
customer.
And speaking of IE7 beta 3 ... (we were?) ... Microsoft must have broken
something (again). There was a recent alert to users of a real estate
website hosting service that subscribers are to avoid use of IE7 beta 3 due
to compatibility issues. Apparently earlier versions did not pose a problem.
There appears to be a number of other "gotchas" with IE7 beta 3, including a
a known issue with an older release of Zone Alarm.
But we mustn't waste bandwidth discussing off-topic matters. Betas will be
betas. Let's leave it at that. Shall we?
