Beta1 critical error

The following message was displayed on my screen this
morning when I attempted to run Beta1- "critical error
(Error 101)" with advice to make contact with the help
desk.
Does anyone know what might be wrong and be kind enough
to suggest a possible solution?

I have no solution as I am waiting for one myself. All I
can tell you is not to bother to contact them at the help
desk because they will just send you here. Have you tried
to uninstall the little pest? I can't even do that.
