This is the same exact look including all the screens with
their functions, minus a couple of graphics as the product
by sunbelt software counterspy.

I figure that MS bought into their technology or something
like that, because their product was out way before MS beta.
Has anyone else realized this as well?

If not, go to google.com, and type in counterspy, click
enter. you will the company sunbelt software and checkout
counterspy. I am not kidding, the same setup, the same
file checking, exact approach, the same end screen, the
same explorers option, etc.
 
Sunbelt licensed a product produced by Giant Antispyware.

Microsoft subsequently purchased that company, and thus the same technology
licensed by Sunbelt.

Microsoft is contractually required to provided definition updates to
Sunbelt through July of 2007.

I believe you will notice some changes to the look and feel of the product
when beta2 arrives.
 
expect beta 2 or final version of microsoft antispyware
to have some major changes on their interface.
