I was participating in the Beta program, but my time ran
out and I'm not prepared to move all of my other
application to XP. So for now, I have to roll back to
Win2000 and Office 2000. I can't seem to find the file
that contains my email and contacts from OL2003 in order
to import them into OL2000. There may even be a
compatibility problem.

Can anyone give me some ideas, and if there are
compatibility issues, are there work arounds?

Sincerely,
Fritz

Your looking for *.pst files if you where testing with POP/IMAP accounts.
These files usually get tucked into a hidden folder, so you need to
configure Windows XP (Explorer & Search) to show/look-in hidden/system
folders.

As for compatibility, there is a strong possibility that you used the new
unicode pst file format. If that is the case, you need to find someone
still running Outlook 2003 to export/move your items into a legacy (ansi)
pst file so you can work with it in Outlook 2000/2002.
