BETA another word for stinky software?

I have this problem: MS will not pick up the things
that Spybot does.

Everytime I have run the beta MS spy stop stuff, I get
zero found.

They evidently wanna sell this to us, but the free stuff
seems to be doing a better job. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is the list of spyware on the report:

Seems like a lame application at present.

Shalom,

To me those look safe. Whatever else its not picking up must be cookies and
thats not supported in this beta 1 release of MSAS. Lets hope we see it in
beta 2. Also, have you been doing any deep scans with MSAS in Safe Mode? You
should.

I got 5 copied of DSO Exploit, and another one. Don't
remember.

Yes, I did a deep scan, but not safe mode.

If Spybot and another spyware hunter noted them as
spyware why can't MSAS?

For some reason, the DSO and others may not be showing in
the report.

Not ranting, just reporting.

John

John;
The DSO exploit is a known issue with Spybot and is a false positive.
What you see is actually a credit to Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Also, you should be aware that MSAS has been anounced as
as a plugin for IE 7, and will be free to all always,
according to the TechNet Flash for February.
