I don't believe we will know until it arrives. I would not expect it soon.

I believe it will be a new download, rather than arriving via the update
feature.

These are guesses, based on experience with previous beta projects.
 
I would like to know when beta2 is supposed to be coming out, and how where
will I have to go to get it? Or will it automatically download itself when I
check for updates?
