As i'm sure you are aware, with dial-up you often (always?) get disconnected
after 2 hours. I then re-dial and have no problem re-connecting.
However, since i downloaded Antispyware Beta 1 i have not been able to
re-connect to my ISP after the first 2 hours (says line busy) without
re-starting my computer.
Although it may be just a coincidence that i downloaded Beta1 and then this
started to happen (and hadn't happened previous to that), i wondered if
perhaps there was a connection, that maybe Beta1 wasn't allowing the
re-connection to my ISP.
If there is a connection, if this is known to anybody, could you please let
me know what box i tick (or whatever) on the Antispyware to disable the
blocking of my re-dial.
Obviously i've also asked my ISP this same question, in case it's a problem
with them.
Grateful for any help - one tends to panic when downloading stuff and really
not knowing enough about the technical side of things when not technically
minded!
