About a month or more ago someone posted the hint to install Vista and XP in
seperate partitions - rather than use the Vista Bootloader. This way is
correct - use computer management to hide the OS's from each other. Then
all will be well in terms of file corruption. Any comment??

Marty - why are you asking for comments - this subject has been "ridden" to
death. Check previous posts.

The best way is to use a drive tray and have separate disk drives just swap
the one you want to use and each OS will never see the other. The cost
really isn't that much.

The issue with dual boot where the XP installation can see the Vista
partitions is that when booting into XP, all the system restore points,
shadow copies and backups made in Vista on the partitions that XP can see
are deleted. This can also be avoided by encrypting the Vista installation
with Bitlocker.
