After a year, my belkin router crapped out for some unknown reason. So
for months, I've been testing out various brands to replace it ..
without "luck." Appears that I'm not alone in this frustrating quest
either:

"Belkin sucks" achieves 401 hits (google).
"Netgear sucks" achieves 903 hits (google).
........ I tried one, but it couldn't even find my modem. Hellooooo!
"Linksys sucks" achieves 3050 hits (google).

"Worst routers" achieves 432 google hits.

I'm still hunting. I currenty use a Efficient Networks Speedstream
modem. Any suggestions? No trolls please.

there are a lot of excellent modern routers available from several
vendors. I'm currently using a D-Link DGL-4500 and am very happy
with it.

Thanks for the feeback. I found a Linksys router from Fries that
actually worked.
I had a smart Fries clerk this time.

Did he ask if you wanted Fries with that router?

Or did you go to Fry's?
