First of all, I was unsure of which would be the most
appropriate newsgroup, so if their is a more appropriate
newsgroup, please accept my apologies, and could you
please direct me where may be more appropriate.

I'm thinking about improving a Access database used to
book appointments.
Ideally I would like it to work in a very similar way to
the Appointment Recurrance screen in the Outlook Calendar.
Now I haven't given this a great deal of thought as yet,
but I can see this could potentially be quite an involved
job in Access, and could require me writing a fair bit of
visual basic code.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any existing controls or
bits of visual basic that I could adapt to save me a whole
load of work.
The only calendar related thing I'm aware of is ActiveX
Calendar Control 9.0. This is a bit limited for what I
require.

Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob,

just as a thought you understand.....you could embed an
Outlook View Control in a Form in Access and use the
calendaring features of Outlook directly......

For Access/Outlook 2002 see:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=291407
(OL2002: General Information About the Outlook View
Control)

not sure about previous versions though.
