I believe this is a ridiculous question, but is there any
way to actually chart this data? I've been working with
the larger numbers on one Y-axis and a second Y-axis for
the very small numbers, but I think I'll be making a mess
before too much longer. The user may end up with separate
charts. Thanks!

This Year Last Year
% trans on card 60.27% 70.27%
% sales on card 77.13% 70.13%
Primary HH 808,503 888,888
Avg.Cardholders 12,027 13,027
Average Order $28.27 $30.27
Trips per week 0.48 0.56
Sales per week $13.58 $14.58
Top 30% Trips 1.20 1.50

Working with such disparate numbers is a real challenge. One way you
might approach it is to add a column relating this year as a percentage
of last year, using a simple formula in a fourth column:

% of last
85.8%
110.0%
91.0%
92.3%
93.4%
85.7%
93.1%
80.0%

If you plot a horizontal bar chart with this column as your Y values and
the first column as your category labels, you might be able to make a
little sense of it. To illustrate the numbers themselves, you might use
a utility like Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler (http://appspro.com) or John
Walkenbach's Chart Tools (http://j-walk.com) to apply this year's actual
values as data labels to the chart. These are both free add-ins that are
easy to install and use to put labels in a range of cells into the chart
as data labels.

Jon,
Thanks so much for the response; using the percentage is a
good idea.
