I've been disappointed with the ones with the integrated graphics controller
(shared memory). I'd like to go with a separate card. I've tried the A7V8X-X
and the performance seems lackluster. What would you recommend is the best
way to go here?
Thanks, bg

I just bought the A7N8X Deluxe because it seemed the consensus of
Barton lovers everywhere. Or the Abit NF7-S also seemed highly rated.
I haven't had a chance to do much with mine yet but I do have it in a
nice new case and booting. Hopefully after this weekend I'll have my
own feedback.

The Nforce2 chipset (the N instead of the V in A7x8X) is supposed to
be much superior to the Via chipset so take that as a hint.

I would push you toward nForce2. I have the A7N8X Deluxe, since you seem to
not require all the bells and whistles, I would probably suggest the A7N8X
or A7N8X-X
