Hi,

I'm currently using NAV 2004 which came with my T42.

I want to ditch it. The trial period runs out soon. I have noticed
delays on several occasions where NAV pops up a message that it's
waiting to do a scan. It can go screw itself.

I'm thinking KAV. Is that low footprint? What about the Pro version? Is
that useful?
Cost is not an issue as low as it's below $100 US.

Thanks.

i highly recommend computer associates ez antivirus, with a 4mb footprint,
it's the fastest scanner out there, it's efficent and very effective, and
simple to use.

Low resources, high functionality = Panda
But Norton is not a bad product,.. only resources hungry.
Panda is not,... equally stable (as far as stability is not blasphemy
when used under windows circumstances) and they offer a nice suite if
firewall, avir and more... Platinum (firewall& avir) is a fine option.
The rest is out there for free...
