What is the best freeware to create VCD disks?

I am using some buggy commercial software that came with my printer/scanner.
There must be something better.

I do hope there is something out there....

this site can tell you what you need to know
http://www.dvdrhelp.com/

Thanks for the link. But unfortunately, there does not appear to be any really
user friendly freeware for VCD creation. Lots of shareware and payware. Too
bad...

The last freeware version is actually VCDEasy v1.1.5.2 and I'll match your
kind offer and post this version if requested.

Thanks for the post. I would be very grateful if you could post the last
freeware version to alt.binaries.freeware or direct me to a website listing the
file.
