Hello,

Had to replace the HD in my PC, and, after, I re-installed Excel from
the MS Disc.
This is the last re-install for Excel allowed.

It works, but there are lots of problems with it now.

I really don't want to spend the $ for a new copy of Excel right now.

In your opinion, of all the free spreadsheets out there, which one comes
closest to Excel ?

Will be doing a lot of scatter charts, and would have to be able to add
linear Trendlines to it.

Thanks for opinions and help.

try a repair of excel

You may want to try Office365. It's MS's response to Google Docs/Drive.

In fact, you may want to try Google Drive. They have a spreadsheet program.

LibreOffice is another alternative to look into.
