Best spectrum emulator

Brilliant

Oh my god...the hobbit and seabase delta...what memories...gonna do em again ...hope my keyboard is as strong as the old ones were as Daley Thompsons Supertest is gonna take some hammering....:thumb:

Alright, which is the best emulator then? Will any work in Win XP? Any Linux emulators?

Questions questions questions....

I see they have Chuckie Egg & Chuckie Egg 2 :)

Just use the online one (with the sound plug in), find the game you want from that list above and then click on the image box with 48/128 in it (for all apart from contested games). You can then play it in a pretty good java emulator :D

Oh. Right.

Dunno what you mean. Doh.

Anyway, which one is good for playing games offline in Win XP? Anybody know? :)

I get an error, it tells me the JSyn classes are missing when I try to install the sound plug in

So frustrating

" Hit Gandalf on the head with large wooden club "sorry "do not understand "

I forgot how ruddy frustrating this game was !!!!!!!

I had that but then closed IE and re-opened, then it worked fine :) Does that work for you too?

I went through a commodore phase a few years ago

went through about 10 differnt emulators before finding a good one - over 100 games with it though
