Joe

We're looking for a fully functional RTF/HTML editor for our WinForms
application. We need a control with the following features:

1. Supports image
2. Supports hyperlinks (auto detects) and allows use to create "custom"
hyperlinks.
3. Can have their menus and toolbars merged with our application or is fully
programmically controlled.

I see there is a lot out there for ASP.NET but it doesn't seem like there is
much for Winforms.

Thanks,
Joe

I need something that can handle both RTF and HTML. We have users that want
simple RTF and others that want a much richer content that HTML can offer.

Hi Joe,

I searched the Internet for the RTF/HTML editor you want, but didn't find
an editor that can edit both RTF and HTML.

The RTF editor I found is based on an extended RichTextBox and the HTML
editor I found is based on the WebBrowser control in edit mode.

You can get more information about these two editors from the following
links:
'Word Processor Based Upon an Extended RichTextBox Control'
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/eRichTextBox.aspx

'A Windows Forms based text editor with HTML output'
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/edit/editor_in_windows_forms.aspx

I suggest that you provide two editors in your application, i.e. a RTF
editor and an HTML editor and the user can select which editor he/she will
use.

Hope this helps.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,
